When I received my website/blog, at this point in time everything was paid for. I started to implement what I had learned in marketing my online business opportunities. I had joined a super company in the health and nutrition industry, because I wanted a business that offered consumable products, since I take vitamins and nutritional products, I thought this would be a great choice for me.

Having your own website/blog gives you full control over how you want to monetizes your website. I wanted to be able to have multiple streams of income, not just one .

The product might not be a hot seller at the rate of some others at the time but, but you have to remember, that you are going to market this product on your website and you have to have your website optimized for search engines in order to get the targeted traffic to your website. Through the right marketing efforts you can make it a "HOT SELLER".

There is a quote I had seen from a SEO marketer and here it is " Success comes to those that get the most traffic" and that is the simple truth of success. If you get lots of traffic to your website your will make sales and create streams of income for yourself.

In order to be successful in affiliate marketing with Clickbank, you have to have a website or blog that you have full control over and can post fresh content. You also have remember to put your affiliate links in the articles you post on your blog and the ones you submit to articles directories.

The purpose of my blog is to help other people to be successful with a affiliate home based businesses on the Internet, creating streams of income, marketing tips on search engine optimization, article marketing, building backlinks etc. So, it would stand to reason that I would choose products from Clickbank that would help others in their marketing efforts and help them achieve their financial dreams.

I chose my first product from clickbank and posted it on my site, mind you that my site was still in a young stage of growth and traffic to my site was minimum to say the least. Even with minimum targeted traffic to my site, I managed to make some sales. The sales I made was enough to pay about twenty-five percent of the cost of my initial investment for my marketing sites. I can't wait till my site is pulling in four hundred to six hundred targeted traffic visitors a day!

To monetize my site further, I joined a email marketing company. I joined because, it was necessary for me to develop a email marketing plan with a auto responder set up to start my list of people that opt- in to my marketing tips.

The email marketing company also had a affiliate program which I joined at zero cost to me. Now the great thing about theses affiliates programs, they are one hundred percent free, they pay me to sell their products, this is a great way to make money!
